The Toddy Essential Brewer makes the best, smoothest iced coffee I've ever had! I have a De'Longhi PrimaDonna Elite, which is still my go-to for hot coffee, but for cold, this is 100% the way to go. I compared the description of this brewer with the video on the original 'Toddy Cold Brew Coffee Maker' and chose the Essential due to the difference in bung design; this is no fuss, no mess. I chuck in the filter, weigh the coffee, weigh the water, then steep. Then all you have to do is move the lever to 'drain' while it's sitting over the carafe and stick it in the fridge. I'm still working out my brewing times and ratios for making the perfect cup, but even when it's not quite right, it's still delicious! Of course, all my coffee, hot or cold, is made with Killer coffee beans.
