The most convenient way to brew
We’ve all got days where there’s no time to fix up a proper brew, and sadly espresso machines aren’t too fit to drag around to a hike. That’s why we’ve got these Rip ‘n Drip Coffee Bags. Invented in Japan in the 90s, these babies are one of the best ways to enjoy coffee on the go.
How to brew:
- Rip open your sachet. Tear the bag along the dotted line, stretch out the arms and hang it over your mug.
- Slowly pour 200-250mL of boiled water over the grounds. For a clean bitter-free brew, wait 60 seconds off the boil to let the water cool slightly before pouring.
- Let it all drip through, then remove the filter. Or, if you’re game, let it sit for up to 4 minutes for that extra kick in the pants.
What does drip coffee taste like compared to other brews?
If you haven’t tried filter coffee before, you’re in for a treat. You’ll get that seriously strong yet bitter-free taste of Killer Coffee you know and love, but with a cleaner, crisper profile.
92°C? A minute off the boil? What’s the difference from using boiling water?
Water temperature matters a whole lot in brewing. Too hot and it’ll burn, getting a bitter taste that’d remind you of instant coffee – and we wouldn’t wish that on our worst enemies. Just wait one minute off the boil. Sometimes it’ll feel like the longest 60 seconds of your life but trust us, it’s worth it.
How is this better than taking a thermos of coffee with me?
Turns out coffee and oxygen aren’t the best of friends. The longer you leave coffee out the more likely you’ll start to get that ‘stale’ taste. Ten out of ten coffee snobs agree that freshly brewed is always better – and our Rip ‘n Drip Coffee Bags is probably the most convenient way to have that on-the-go. Plus the grounds in each bag are nitro flushed, keeping them fresh for longer. Neat, right?
The drip coffee bag is compostable.

The coffee here is excellent—rich, smooth, and full of flavour. I've really enjoyed most cups I've had. However, I attempted to reach out through multiple channels regarding an issue with several bags with holes and, unfortunately, received no response. Good customer service is just as important as great coffee, and the lack of communication was disappointing. Sadly, because of this, I won’t be purchasing again.

They are the bomb. We work in a camp that sells rubbish coffee. We bought the Rip n Drip as an easy to pack when we fly in and use as an alternative. OMG - never buying another coffee again. Please keep up with the supply of Dakerside Rip n Drip!

Great flavour, can’t go back to instant coffee now!
I think my fav is the dark side, great tasting coffee, smells Devine when you rip off the top. So easy to use and sensational. Will be buying more, thanks!!!
I can't comment on the quality of the item as it was purchased as a gift that hasn't been given as yet. The item was well packaged and arrived quickly.
I sent these samples to 2 of my freins and thay absolutely loved them. One of the guys works for choice magazine and will be recommending killer coffee to the rest of the crew.
It was nice to be able to try the different strengths because as much as I would like to drink only the Darkside Blend or Industrial Strength there are days I don't need my coffee strong enough to restart my cold dead heart.
I love how easy the Rip 'n 'Drip is to use but I did discover that the size of the mug matters. I may drink a little too much coffee, yeah ok fine it's the only thing that keeps me from killing people so yes some of my mugs are oversized because my Cardiologist put a limit on how many cups of coffee I can drink per day. Anyway I found with my oversized mugs that the Rip 'n' Drip bag would fall in because it's edge grippers were stretched to far apart. I also worked out that I do actually drink way to much coffee, a habit I have zero interest in fixing.
I love the mug. It clearly tells my entire family not to use it because it's mine.

Great tasting, easy to use & super convenient for camping or travelling. Don't need any fancy Cafe, just a rip n drip & some hot water.
Best coffee, keeps me buzzing
Love the coffee love the ability to have real pour over coffee in a cup at home
These are the best, especially for work, and camping.
Killer coffee amazing
Absolutely buetiful coffee best ever
Shared the samples with family and we all really enjoyed the taste and strength of the brew.
Industrial strength by name, industrial strength by nature. Strong but smooth with a nice kick to it.
Cool starter pack.
I bought rip'n drip sample pack because I wanted to test some new coffee. The coffee is excellent and probably some of the best I had in a while. It's well worth the price as well.
A must have when on the road...
Bought all 3 strengths for my coffee loving Daughter. She is very impressed.
Love the mug and the fact it can go in the dishwasher is an added bonus! Trying the 3 different blends has been ideal so I can decide which one I love the most!

Great flavour, can’t go back to instant coffee now!
Good flavour, and really handy for travel/working on the road. Only downside – do have to carry a clothes peg to stop it falling into my travel mug. KC – could you do a stainless bag support for bigger mugs?
