Smoother, less harsh, and packed with serious flavour – this is how coffee’s MEANT to taste. The Toddy makes it easy. Here’s the lowdown:
- Shove that stopper into the bottom of the brewing container. No leaks allowed.
- Dampen the felt filter and toss it in. This is what keeps your brew smooth.
- Load the Coffee. Get your hands on some coarse-ground Killer Coffee (our “Plunger” grind is perfect). 340 grams is the magic number. Then, pour in 7 cups of water and give it a stir. We want those grounds soaked and ready.
- Leave that bad boy at room temperature for 12-24 hours. This ain’t instant gratification, it’s about unlocking that bold, complex flavour.
- Set the brewer on the decanter, pull the plug, and let that rich concentrate flow.
- Toss the filter and grounds. Your concentrate’s good for up to two weeks in the fridge.
Now the fun part. Mix 1 part concentrate with 3 parts water, milk, soy, whatever floats your boat:
- Iced Killer: Pour over ice and conquer your day with a deadly smooth brew.
- Hot and Heavy: Killer cold brew works hot too! Gently heat it up by stirring in steaming water.
